Love the coffee. Don’t love the deforestation.

In 2008 Starbucks promised that by 2015 it would use only 100% recycled and recyclable cups, and serve 25% of its drinks in reusable mugs. But, today, forests around the world are still destroyed to make Starbucks cups. That’s one and a half million trees every year used once and tossed in the garbage.

Help call on Starbucks to give us a better cup. Because we deserve it.

We call on Starbucks to:

Cups must be recyclable in both material and practice so that they can be recycled wherever they are disposed.

Today 90% of each Starbucks cup is made directly from trees -- stop destroying forests to make disposable cups.

Reusing cups is the most responsible approach -- serve more coffee in reusable mugs.
